SXSW HYPE: The Republic Tigers

Really excited to see The Republic Tigers. I can’t tell you how much I’ve been enjoying Keep Color, it’s an amazingly cool album full of fun and interesting songs that cover a wide range of styles.

The Republic Tigers are hard to describe. They’re sort of indie rock, but have quite a bit of unique vocals and instrumentation. They’re kind of like if you took Tapes and Tapes and mixed them up with Under The Influence Of Giants. Which is awesome.

The Bottom Line

The Republic Tigers play The Bigg Digg Shindigg on Saturday, March 14th at 6:30 pm at Stubb’s (801 Red River St) and 11 pm Saturday March 21st at Maggie Mae’s (323 E 6th St).
