SXSW HYPE: Natalie Portman’s Shaved Head

I saw Natalie Portman’s Shaved Head about a year ago opening for CSS and loved ‘em.

At the time I had no idea who they were, but they came out on the stage all full of energy and I was instantly hooked. They did seem a bit rough and unpolished and as a young band my guess is they’ve gotten a bit more comfortable on stage. They’re fun, eclectic, sort of spastic and definitely full of energy. Hopefully they’ve been able to hold on to that energy! If so they’ll be this year’s Los Campesinos!
